Ingredients:
- 4 cans 15 oz each navy beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup diced bacon
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
Set oven temperature to 175C 350F
Cook the chopped bacon in a big skillet until its crispy
Eliminate extra grease
Transfer the finely chopped onion to the skillet and cook it until it becomes tender
Then combine the drained navy beans, black pepper, garlic powder, brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, cooked bacon, sauted onions, molasses, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl
Spread the bean mixture evenly in a baking dish after transferring it there
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the top is caramelized and the beans are hot and bubbly
Before serving, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool slightly
