These Mushroom and Goat Cheese Flatbreads with Balsamic Glaze are a delicious and elegant alternative to traditional pizza. The combination of earthy mushrooms, creamy goat cheese, and tangy balsamic glaze creates a burst of flavors that will impress your guests.

Ingredients:

  • 2 flatbread pizza crusts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup crumbled goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh arugula for garnish

Instructions:

Turn on your oven and heat it up to 425F 220C

Put the olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-low heat

Cut up some garlic and add some sliced mushrooms

It will take about 5 minutes of cooking until the mushrooms are soft and slightly caramelized

Lay the crusts of the bread out on a baking sheet

Spread a little balsamic glaze on top of each crust

Spread the mushrooms that have been sauted out evenly on both flatbreads to use as a base

Put goat cheese crumbles on top of the mushrooms on both flatbreads

On top of the flatbreads, spread out the dried thyme, salt, and pepper

Put it in an oven that is already hot and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp and the cheese is melted

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before cutting it

Add fresh arugula as a garnish and drizzle with more balsamic glaze if you like

Cut it up and serve it right away
